DNF: a marketplace for vehicles that aren't finished

Damaged, rebuilt and project vehicles usually end up at salvage auctions or lost in general classifieds. DNF gives them a marketplace of their own.

The short answer

DNF (Damaged. Not Finished.) is a marketplace for damaged, rebuilt and project vehicles in Canada and the US. Magnitude designed, built and runs it, and launched it in October 2026: owners list a vehicle starting with its VIN, buyers make offers with no dealer licence needed, and every listing carries a Score that shows what kind of project it is.

The Score

Every listing, scored

The What the Score means section on damagednotfinished.com, with demo listings: what a Score is built from, the status or title brand, damage, condition and paperwork, beside a picker of listings and one listing's Score, its band from Parts only to Rebuilt, and the reasons that moved it.
damagednotfinished.comThe Score, with its reasons.
  • Every listing gets a Score from what the seller reports: the title brand, the damage, the condition and the paperwork.
  • The Score shows what moved it, so buyers can tell a parts car from a rebuild candidate at a glance.
  • Each listing shows the exact status word from the registration or title, and the province or state that issued it.

  • Sellers start a listing with the VIN, then add the damage, what still works and their photos.
  • Buyers make offers above or below the asking price, with no auction clock.
  • Contact details stay hidden until the seller accepts an offer and the deal is confirmed, and DNF never handles the money for the vehicle.
  • Guides for Canada and the US explain the rules that differ by province and state.
